 Hala zaprojektowana została przez Tadeusza Emmla, natomiast płaskorzeźbę Syrenki wykonał Zygmunt Otto. Sam garaż ma powierzchnię ponad 2400 m2 i w czasie, gdy został wybudowany mógł swobodnie pomieścić od 60 do 70 dużych samochodów. Bezpośrednio z halą łączyły się warsztaty reperacyjne i magazyny. Konstrukcja garażu była jak na ówczesne czasy nowoczesna.
-Przez wiele lat kompleks służył Miejskiemu Przedsiębiorstwu Oczyszczania. Hala w 2008r. została wpisana do rejestru zabytków, a miasto przyjęło nieruchomość porozumieniem z października 2010 r. Rada m.st. Warszawy zadecydowała 10 lipca 2012 r. o przekazaniu kompleksu budynków Nowemu Teatrze Krzysztofa Warlikowskiego. Zarząd Teatru ogłosił konkurs na projekt centrum kulturalnego, a później na wykonawcę robót budowlanych – na jesień 2012 r. miała zostać wbita tradycyjna „pierwsza łopata”. W rezultacie plany się nie powiodły, hala nie zmieniła swojego wyglądu, a obecnie służy Nowemu Teatrze za halę warsztatową na której odbywają się m.in. wystawy.

 La nave fue diseñada por Tadeusz Emmel y el bajorrelieve de sirena elaborado por Zygmunt Otto. El garaje tiene la superficie de más que 2400 m2 y en tiempo cuendo fue construido pudo caber de 60 a 70 grandes coches. Junto a la nave están unidos talleres de reparación y almacenes.La construcción del garaje fue en aquel entonces moderna.
-El complejo fue utilizado durante muchos años por El Servicio Municipal de Limpieza. En 2008 la nave fue inscrita al registro de monumentos y la ciudad tomó el edificio a base de un acuerdo del año 2010. El 10 de julio de 2012 El Consejo de la Ciudad de Varsovia decidió transferir el complejo de edificios al Teatro de Krzysztof Warlikowski. La dirección del teatro publicó un concurso para el diseño de un nuevo centro cultural y, a continuación, para la ejecución de obras de construcción . El principio de las obras fue planeado para el otoño d 2012. Sin embargo, los planes no se realizaron, la nave no se cambió y actualmente sirve como nave para talleres para Teatr Nowy donde se realizan p.ej. exposiciones.

 The Hall was designed by Tadeusz Emmla, while the mermaid statue was made by Otto Sigismund. The garage itself has an area of over 2400 m2 and at a time of its completion it could easily fit from 60 to 70 large cars. The hall is directly connected with the repair and warehouse workshops. The construction of the garage was, in that time, very modern and edgy for the city.
