-De nombreux aménagements sont prévus en ce qui concerne la gare de Nice-Thiers. En effet, un de ces aménagements consistent à faire le lien entre la gare du Sud et le bas de l’avenue Jean-Médecin. De plus, cet aménagement développera les transports niçois par la réalisation d’une inter-modalité exemplaire entre la gare et le tramway, au bénéfice des 11 millions de voyageurs par an attendus d’ici 2020. Donc, en 2013, il y aura une réalisation partielle du bâtiment voyageurs, un aménagement des kiosques sur le parvis, la création d’un cheminement tramway-gare et la réalisation du parvis de la gare, piétonnisé. En 2015, une passerelle d’accès aux quais sera réalisée, un rehaussement de l’ensemble des quais sera effectué pour les rendre accessibles et il y aura une finalisation de l’aménagement du bâtiment voyageurs.
-Ces améliorations ont quatre objectifs : une amélioration du confort et de la sécurité des voyageurs dans la gare et aussi à ses abords, une amélioration de l'inter-modalité par un réaménagement complet de l'ensemble des dessertes de la gare, la création d’une liaison directe et rapide entre la gare et la station de tramway située sur l'avenue Jean Médecin, rendre la gare et les quais totalement accessibles pour tous et notamment pour les personnes à mobilité réduite.
